Jodi, never in my life I will forget the Ave Maria that you sang in our Jesuit church, it gave me the chills and the sensation that there must be a divine being to be able to have a voice like yours, that makes us pass from the antechamber of heaven for a moment to the same sky. -Steffen Reichle, Director of Conservarte Bolivia
Jodi, I heard your song, "Be Near Me Still" on a podcast on my Laudate phone app this week. I just have to say that your song and voice carried me through the week. I played the podcast over and over! I don't do that normally! Anyway, just wanted to say that God used you to calm my anxious heart during a week that was beyond chaos, a week where my job and all of my employee's jobs were on the line. God blessed me through you. Just wanted to send my gratitude and blessings to you. I am looking forward to purchasing your music and will hold you in my prayers! Blessings to you, your life's ambitions, and your "yes" to sharing the gifts God has showered upon you! -Ashley
Valerie Nielsen of CM Magazine says, "Jodi Penner's playing of the penny whistle to accompany Cradle Song and her performance of Under Bethlehem Sky provide perfect musical interludes in the cd".
Jodi Penner Featured At 2011 Choral Coffeehouse of the Joyful Noise Choir Choral Coffeehouse is a community fund raising event organized by the children of the Joyful Noise Choir on behalf of Rehoboth Christian Ministries. This year’s coffeehouse featured solo and joint performances with the choir by Jodi Penner. Jodi’s selection of songs covered a range of both original and covered works and was well-received by the audience. We really appreciated the selections for soloist and choir since they were well within the choir’s abilities and were in keeping with the repertoire the choir normally performs. We would not hesitate to invite Jodi to work with the choir again, if the opportunity arose. Thanks for everything Jodi! -Rein Selles, Director

"When one meets a musician with both heart and pure craft, it's best to pay attention. To Jodi, such attention is easily given. Great spirit. Sweet music. Humor. Depth. Rapport. Care. Exquisite writing and excellent performance blend into a God-honoring and people touching moment. Jodi should and will be known more and more by a world in need of such an artist." --Kelly Ballard
